Photographer and Artist

I am based in Maryland just outside of Washington DC in the midst of wonderful horse country.  Being an avid equestrian, I find myself drawn and connected to the world of Equine Photography -- be it Equestrian Sports, Equestrian Portraits or Equine Fine Art.  Although I spend a lot of time with the horses, my portfolio also reflects my love of travel, wildlife and people.  I believe that a photo should capture the essence of a person, place or time.  And I strive to capture that essence in each of my photos. 

I am both a published and an award winning photographer and artist.  Over the years my images have been published in various magazines (local, national and international publications).  As a photographer I have also won various awards in both photography competitions and art shows.   My fine art pieces can also be found displayed in various art studios and exhibits throughout the year.
